You are trying to decide if you want to stay and remodel or sell it and find another one. Not sure what to do? As a house designer with a real estate license, we start with a consultation* and review and talk through what you want to accomplish. If you decide to stay, I redesign the existing floor plan, draw plans for the contractor to estimate and build. If you decide to sell, I make suggestions to get your house market ready, list it and market your house to sell, while helping you find another home (even a fixer-upper).

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always been interested in residential architecture. After classes in drafting, I worked with an architectural firm for eight years, perfecting my skill under their supervision. In 1991 I started designing houses as a side job, and in 2001 started Design Time for Homes, Atlanta focusing on remodeling and renovations. The TIME for a DESIGN is at the beginning of the project in order to get comparable estimates from contractors.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most home remodel projects do not need the expertise or expense of an architect or engineer. I fill in that gap where a homeowner just needs someone with my knowledge and experience to brainstorm with them what they can and cannot do to make their house fit their needs. I'm visual and creative, and typically offer several options of how the house can be changed. Also, as a real estate agent, I understand how changes can affect the resale value of a home and therefore keep that in mind in redesigning the desired spaces.

I come to your location. I cover much of North and Northwest Metro Atlanta area (that pie-shape created by I-20 west and I-85 north)including Buckhead and Midtown.
