How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Upon graduating with an economics degree from University of Utah, Clayton’s corporate career began with THE GAP. During the ensuing years, Clayton held various positions with increasing areas of responsibility, heading up Accounts Payable at ZALES Corporation, Business Manager for Upright Construction in Oakhurst, and Corporate Controller at Mallory and Evans, also in the Atlanta area. In establishing The Accountant, Clayton Hiatt recognized the burgeoning business incubator represented by the Atlanta metroplex. “With innovative educational institutions such as Southern Polytechnic, Georgia Tech, SCAD, Emory and KSU producing a stream of eligible future business leaders, I knew there would be vibrant entrepreneurial, upcoming businesses to be developed on a metro and, with proper direction, a global level.”
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Accountant tirelessly provides C-level accounting and financial direction serving the needs of individuals and businesses throughout Marietta and the Atlanta metropolitan area. The Accountant currently represents companies in the event planning, construction, retail, design, legal, technology and commercial compliance arenas. The longevity of The Accountant is supported by its people and clients. With trust in the talents of its people and the loyalty of its clients, The Accountant forges its path to the future.
