Counseling Services for Individuals and Families
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist. I began my practice in 2001. I have several Interns and absolutely love my profession. I am also a retired
School Counselor & Teacher for 30.5 years. We work with our patients on a sliding scale. Payment is based on yearly income. We counsel all patients with a variety of concerns. We provide evaluations through the Court System as well. Our patients are our main concern. Our goal is to provide excellent service for all our past, current & future patients, without the burden of high cost therapy. We as Therapists work with patients not because we have to but just the opposite, we want to & we make it our policy to serve others with unconditional acceptance & regard. We find a way to assist those in need.
We accept patients who don't have medical insurance & charge $45.00 to $70.00 per session.
Services are negotiable & we accept B/C B/S & WellCare. No one is turned away.

What is your primary product or service?
Psychotherapy for children, adolescence, adults, couples, partners, families, elderly, hospital referrals and court ordered cases. We do not discriminate clients due to race, sex, ethnic group, sexual orientation and religious orientation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am a retired School Counselor & Teacher with 30.5 years of experience. Most of the schools were Alternative & Psycho-educational settings. In 1990 I earned a Masters degree in School & Community Counseling. In 1996, I earned a Specialists degree in Psychological & Community Counseling. I taught/counseled students by day, coached sports and went to school at night. I paid my own way & slept 2 hours at night. I completed my Internship in 1998. I passed the State Licensening Board for Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapist & Social Work. After retiring from Education, I continued to work at my practice & now provide service to those who seek counseling. We use a sliding scale & never turn any one away due to financial concerns.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Mainly by cost effective short-term counseling. We work with clients because we want to and not because we have to. My colleagues are often puzzled when I tell them I refuse to charge my clients outrageous fees for therapy because those who need help usually have problems paying for it. I'm not about to make it more difficult for them. It has been my long time belief, no one should ever feel they don't matter. There is always a way! Sometimes taking the high costs of counseling out of the equation lessens the fear of seeking help.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One for now and possibly more in the future. We are working with Multi-Care Management Services located in Mableton, GA. whose sole purpose is to provide around the clock service for clients who are elderly & clients physically, psychologically, socially, and financially challenged.
